Sunday Stories...

Sunday at noon we host a gathering of contributors to young adult charity anthology Two and Twenty Dark Tales. Nancy Holder, Gretchen McNeil, Nina Berry, C. Lee McKenzie, and Suzanne Lazear share their dark retellings of Mother Goose rhymes.

Then at 2:30 PM Sunday, Mark Z. Danielewski shares the new edition of his illustrated novella, The Fifty Year Sword.

Tuesday Launch Party!
It's party time as MGRB helps local author Elana K. Arnold celebrate her debut young adult paranormal romance novel, Sacred!

Men of Mystery, and LosCon!

One of our favorite Fall events is coming up in mid-November. Men of Mystery offers attendees the chance to visit with and get books signed by more than 50 male mystery writers -- everything from special forces agents to private eyes to private spies. Featured speakers at the 2012 Celebration are John Lescroart (The Hunter), James Rollins (Bloodline), and Joseph Finder (Buried Secrets).
